Medical Assistant - Full Time

At Virtuoso Spine & Joint, we've mastered minimally invasive spine and joint pain intervention to help our patients live a life of optimal experience.

Position: Medical Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team! As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinic's operations and providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Duties:

- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.

- Record accurate patient vitals and medical histories.

- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are well-equipped.

- Educate patients on treatment plans and post-care instructions.

- Operate and maintain medical equipment, including c-arm machine.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

- Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of coding and medical billing processes.

- Experience with eClinicalworks

- Prior pain medicine experience

- Prior experience with insurance verification and obtaining prior authorizations

- Fluent in Korean or Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
