Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Interventional Pain

Location: Virtuoso Spine & Joint

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate part-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience or training in interventional pain management and will assist in patient evaluations, perform injections, and contribute to our comprehensive care approach. Additionally, this role includes rounding at nearby nursing homes and rehabilitation centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans.

  • Assist with and perform interventional procedures.

  • Round at local nursing homes and rehabilitation centers.

  • Document patient interactions and treatment plans in eClinicalWorks.

  • Collaborate with our team to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Texas.

  • Experience or training in interventional pain management.

  • Familiarity with eClinicalWorks is highly desirable.

  • Training or experience with aesthetic procedures is a significant plus.

  • Bilingual skills in Korean or Spanish are advantageous.

Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA) - Interventional Pain

Location: Virtuoso Spine & Joint

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant (PA) with prior experience in pain management to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.

  • Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and review of diagnostic studies.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.

  • Assist with minimally invasive procedures (e.g., injections, nerve blocks) under the supervision of a physician.

  • Educate patients on treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications to manage pain.

  • Document patient encounters and manage care plans using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR.

  • Coordinate follow-up care and communicate with patients regarding ongoing treatment plans.

Qualifications:

  • Active Physician Assistant license in Texas.

  • Prior experience in pain management or a related specialty (required).

  • Proficiency in using eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR (preferred).

  • Strong clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Excellent bedside manner and dedication to patient care.
